Refer a Friend to ShiftPlanning and Get Cash Rewards!
The ShiftPlanning team has created a generous referral program to reward our enthusiastic users for their advocacy. Our customers have been great promoters of our application, and we’re excited to be able to further encourage word-of-mouth activity. Joining the referral program is a quick process that can be completed from a user’s dashboard and from the referral dashboard spreading the word about ShiftPlanning via social networks or email can be done in less than five minutes!
Just like our software, we’ve aimed to make our referral program time-saving and easy-to-use:
- Lifetime Commissions:
Each time those referrals purchase a ShiftPlanning subscription, users will collect a generous 20% commission for the lifetime of the account.
- Marketing Tools:
Users will have access to all sorts of free materials to promote their unique referral link, including email marketing, display ads and social networking promotional tools. In addition, users will be permitted to generate their own creative or promotional copy.
- Referrals Portal:
Users will have access to a referral portal where they can access promotional tools in addition to a summary section which will track all sign-ups, conversions, and referral revenue.

Incremental Updates / Fixes
This release includes a number of incremental updates and fixes.
- Schedule Filters
Schedule filters are an easy way to quickly zone in on specific shifts within the timeline. Schedules can now be filtered based on shift completion, locations, and employees. Shift Notes and Titles are also searchable allowing for managers to hone in on the view that they need.
ShiftPlanning’s new ‘Auto-filled Shift‘ feature streamlines the process to auto fill open/empty shifts based on the employee’s availability. Users only have to select a timeline/shift and run the ‘Schedule Wizard.’
- Time-clock Options
Managers now have additional time-clock settings to auto-round both clock-in and clock-out times and well as the option to deduct breaks from time sheet-related reports.
- Payroll Reports (Beta)
Three new payroll formatted reports can be found in a new section as the ‘reports’ tab. These are the scheduled hours, confirmed hours, and confirmed time sheets reports. Each of the aforementioned contains an employee id field for easy import into payroll.
- ShiftPlanning Has 99.9% Uptime
We aim to be a reliable and secure service as well as offer transparency to our users. Therefore you can check on uptime anytime at status.shiftplanning.com.
A look ahead at the Road-Map:
We still have even more great features coming right around the corner and would like to share a quick preview of what we’re working on:
- Improved Payroll Support:
Direct export to multiple payroll applications as well as more support for customizable: wage, salary, and break
- Improved Print handling:
Ability to print in more views (those similar to the scheduler itself), as well as correct following of applied filters.
- Enhanced ‘Reporting’ Features:
Improved Reporting UI, more robust import/export options, payroll-oriented reports, and the ability to email reports directly from the application.
- New Mobile Apps:
Increased OS integration, so that users can take advantage of more great ShiftPlanning features on their mobile and tablet devices.
