Our non-profit was started in 1979 to address high-unemployment of and a lack of services available to Native Americans in San Diego County.
We have 6 employees. Two of them are out of the office frequently. It was hard for our receptionist to see if they were just out of the office or just off of work that day. Also there was no way to track volunteer hours for grant funding. We would just estimate the hours. When grant funders would ask for documentation; we were at a loss or had to sift through a morass of paper to find it.

There wasn’t a scheduling system, everyone worked the same hours with the same lunch.
We would recommend the work scheduler ShiftPlanning and we found their team very helpful. The work scheduler has made it easier to expand hours and given my employees more flexibility in the schedules and security knowing that everyone else is accountable for their hours too.
