I haven't received my activation email - What should I do?

If you haven't received your account activation e-mail please first be patient. Sometimes these e-mails can take up to 5 minutes to be received (make sure to check your junk mail). If you still can't find it Click Here for further activation options.

How are active employees determined for billing purposes?

ShiftPlanning automatically analyzes your account throughout the month to determine how many 'active' employees that you have each day during that billing period. We then take the max number of employees on your account at any given time during your billing period and charge you accordingly.

Can I use ShiftPlanning on my own server?

At this moment you cannot use ShiftPlanning on your own server. You can however set it up to work with your existing domain name.

Can I use ShiftPlanning on my own Domain Name?

Yes. We have even provided simple copy & paste code for you to set this up. For example: www.yourdomain.com/schedule/

Login to your account, and click on the 'Admin' tab for full details.

How can I remove staff members?

Staff members can never be 'removed', as we want to ensure that your past Schedule Data always remains in tact. You can however 'disable' employees. This leaves their past user data in tact, and locks down any future activity. To Disable an account click to view the user's profile under the 'Staff' tab in your ShiftPlanning account. On their overview you will see the administrative options.

Are there charges for using the SMS notification service?

There are no charges incurred for sending SMS notifications, however general charges will apply for receiving. Managers have the ability to control whether SMS notifications are sent for their notifications. If SMS notifications are set to 'on' - individual Employees have the option to turn this feature on/off at anytime.

What Web Browsers are supported?

ShiftPlanning supports all of the latest web browsers including:
- Internet Explorer
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari

For the best experience we recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Safari as Internet Explorer still lags behind these browser in performance and features.
